DRIVEN OUT - PRACTICE SESSIONS
Millionth hit gets a free CD
(While you fight today, I'll fight for a tomorrow)
*Look what's going on around you; Killing preserves your way of life;
Others suffering relieves your pain; Easing conscience with revenge
*No regard for consequences; When orders are to terrorize;
Where is the honor in fighting; Wars that you can't lose
*Destruction lays a path for; Selfish profits of the war;
What good is a tomorrow; When there is no one left to live?
I don't want to waste my breath screaming at people who already think like me. I've got to yell at those who don't want to hear it, those who are threatened by my voice. I find it quite upsetting that the only revolution I'll ever see is a bunch of kids running in circles in ritualistic complacency. It's easy to preach punk virtues to a crowd of people with mohawked hair but I've to try to do it when my punk support system isn't there. If not then I'm guilty of punk for fashion's sake, I've got to do all that I can to not make that mistake. I stand here a lampoon of social rebellion. Sneering at cops when they've already passed me and taunting jocks when they're not looking. We hide behind mohawks and catchy slogans pinned to the backs of leather jackets, Fashion is a weak form of protest. We value, style over substance, complacence over change, acceptance over dissent, nostalgia over ideas. I don't want to be guilty of punk for fashion's sake, I've got to do all that I can to not make that mistake
(Down on the Strand, In the sun and the sand, Where life is so grand (A life that I can¹t stand))
*On the strand, you¹re still wasted, Empty heads that just want head,
Surfers have all washed away,And the skaters no longer play,
No more artists can be found, Not a creative  thought around,
Where¹d all he individuals go?, All that¹s left are brodeos
*Don¹t I know you from High School, Went nowhere, are you still cool?,
(It¹s) Fraternity culture without the education, No culture just consumerism,
Civil rest, Just get drunk, no rebellion just conformity,
Keep reliving memories of your past, shove them up your fucking ass
*Fashion do¹s, better not don¹t, Or you¹ll be going home alone,
Breeding ground for date rapists, Possession and penetration go hand in hand,
Formulated American culture, Designed to keep the stupid breeding,
Last call goes off as planned, Everyone¹s getting laid tonight

This page is provided to give current updates on upcoming Driven Out songs. Recorded at our practice space with one stereo mic. Joe - Guitar & Vocals, Chris - Guitar & Vocals, Kevin - Bass,  Brian - Drums.

(Can you hear me, Are you listening?, You already know what I think)
*Every word that you transmit on the Internet,
Is put theough a program by your server fo the FBI,
For your security they call it Carnivore,
Monitoring buzzwords without concern for your privacy
*Every phone call, fax, email, and telex message,
Is picked up by supercomputers of the NSA,
For your security they call it Echelon,
No civil liberties when there's no warrant for a wiretap
*Every form of electronic communication,
Is intercepted by UKUSA,
For your security they'll monitor everything,
To always know what will happen before it does

(Art imitates Life imitates Art imitates Life imitates Art...)
*Your realistic fantasy, is a fantastic reality,
The art absorbs you, and you are what you see,
Look in someone else's work, and find your own identity,
You've become actively passive, in your passive activity
*Your fantastic reality, is a realistic fantasy,
Absorbed in the art, you see what you'll be,
Looking for yourself, in someone else's identity,
You've become passively active, in your active passivity
